FAN WALK BRIDGE PROTEST AND TRIBUTE
10 SEPTEMBER 2019

JOIN THE FAN WALK BRIDGE PROTEST AND TRIBUTE, CAPE TOWN CBD - SUICIDE PREVENTION AND AWARENESS

Every day, we lose many lives to suicide, and many more are profoundly impacted by their deaths. We  acknowledge all who experience the challenges of suicidal ideation, and those who have lost loved ones through suicide.

WHY ARE WE PROTESTING?
We want to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and suicide prevention and to send a

message to the government that they are not doing enough to prioritise mental health. Mental health is a Global Health Priority and it starts with effective National Leadership.

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?
We would like people to tie a black ribbon on the Fan Walk Bridge on 10 September 2019 to commemorate those we have lost to suicide and to show support for those struggling with mental health.
